Last Sunday (May 23, 2021), the Vietnamese participated in the election across the country, including UEB students.

 
   According to Reuters, at Hanoi National University polling station last Sunday morning, there were more than 400 young voters, mainly students, who participated in the election for the first time during the Election Day. Many students shared that this is the first time they participated in an election, so they felt very excited and nervous.

Present very early to participate in the "Election day", student voters demonstrated the roles and obligations of the future owners of the country.

“When I voted for the first time, I was very nervous and excited. Voting affirms that I have truly become a citizen of the country and I am proud of that. I am also more aware of my role and responsibility to the society and the country, and I really feel that I also have an influence on the country in each of my electoral votes” - Bui Van Thanh student of Faculty of Banking and Finance said.

"I voted today because its my responsibility to do so," said by a Faculty of Political Economy student voter who did not want to be named.

Recorded at the polling station of VNU, the atmosphere was like a festival when only in the morning thousands of students from VNU schools went to the polling stations. Master. Nguyen Thi Thu, Deputy Head of the Training Department - University of Economics and Business, said that in addition to 72 students voting at the VNU polling station, hundreds of students from the university exercised their citizenship in the wards where the students were resident.

By the end of the afternoon, according to statistics, 100% of UEB students had gone to the polling stations and fully completed their citizenship.
