The conference of student science research 2015-2016 of Faculty of Political Economics.
On 28th April 2016, Faculty of Political Economics, University of Economics and Business, VNU has held successfully the conference of student science research 2015-2016 at faculty office.
The Scientific Council this year was organized with the participation of education administrators and teachers who have extensive experience in the field of scientific research including: A. Prof – Ph.D. Pham Van Dung – chairman, Ph.D. Tran Quang Tuyen – Secretary, A. Prof – Ph. D. Tran Duc Hiep – commissioner. In addition, Attending the conference were scientific research student groups, and lecturers, staffs and students interested in scientific research.
There are eight students representing four scientific research student groups has reported in the conference. Each research presented was idiosyncratic, expressed the uniqueness and creativeness of each team, highlighted the important points, fresh and scientific approach, research methods and research results.
The exchange between research teams and Council took place in a open and professional atmosphere. The lecturers in the council have given feedback and pointed out advantages and disadvantages of each group, and suggest new approaches to help groups complete their studies.
After a period of hard work, on behalf of council, A. Prof – Ph.D. Pham Van Dung has announced four outstanding research papers won prize including:
The first prize belong to group of two students Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Dinh Thi Quy under instruction of Dr Le Thi Hong Diep with the study “Assessment of the factors affecting participation in organizations of students in Hanoi
The second prize belong to group of Truong Que Hang, Truong Thi Dien, Tran Minh Hoang under instruction of A. Prof – Ph.D. Pham Thi Hong Diep with study “Protection policy in the automobile industry in Vietnam”
Third prize belong to two groups were team of Nguyen Thi Yen and Do Quynh Trang with study “European public debt crisis, recognizing from institutional perspective and lessons for Vietnam” under instruction of Dr Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai and team of Nguyen Thi Cai, Nguyen Thi Le with study “Assessing the impact of the TPP agreement on the textile industry in Vietnam” under instruction of Dr Nguyen Thuy Anh.
As assessed by Scientific Council, research papers presented in the conference reflected the development of movement of students scientific research of Faculty, although the number of studies decreased over the past year, research papers at the conference this year have improved quality, diverse and practical content. Scientific research student groups have known how to apply and combine research methods, expressed their creation capacity and scientific contributions consciousness in solving urgent society problems.
The conference of student science research of Faculty of Political Economics is an annual activity which is highly valued in training and scientific research of the faculty and also is a forum for students to present the ideas and results of research under the guidance of lecturers and scientists. The conference also has contributed to promoting the devolopment students scientific research movement, selected and fostered human resources in scientific research. The participants shared “The conference of student science research has been an opportunity help students consolidate and enhance the knowledge and skils, as well as discovering the passion of research and career orientation”.
